The Archaeological Institue of America (AIA) and Society for Classical Studies (SCS) joint Annual Meeting, scheduled for January 5-8, now will be a virtual-only event, organizers have announced.
Because of rising COVID-19 cases, and particularly the omicron variant, the groups have canceled the in-person portion of the meeting.
Registration Open
Registration still is open for the meeting. It costs $85 ($95 for non-members) and there are discounted rates for students, K-12 teachers, contingent faculty, and unemployed registrants (ranging from $25-$40).
The Preliminary Academic Program now is available. Please note that the schedule is subject to change and all individuals should check back closer to the meeting to verify the date and time for any presentations they are interested in attending. We will be publishing the schedule for other events very soon.
